PROJECT DETAILS
Thea Washington Casting is partnering with BGE to find community members with unique stories, talent, passions, and real-life experiences, particularly those who have participated in a BGE energy efficiency program and want to share how it impacted their home and life.
We're connecting with people from all walks of life, across backgrounds, ages, and industries
entrepreneurs, creators, homeowners, families, and everyday community members who bring
something real and authentic to what they do.This is a paid opportunity to share your story on a larger platform. Filming will take place in your home or creative space, so selected participants must be comfortable having a small production team film on location.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Real people who genuinely found value in a BGE energy efficiency program and would be open to sharing who they are, what they do and their experience on camera, in and around their home. (Just like you’d share with a friend or neighbor.)
For example, have you:
✔️Had a home energy audit or Quick Home Energy
✔️Check-up: Made the switch from a natural gas, oil, or propane system to electric,
✔️Recycled an old appliance through a BGE pick-up or local drop-off even
**Filming will take place in your home or creative space, so selected participants must be comfortable having a small production team film on location.
RATE: NON-UNION (UP TO $3500)
PRINCIPAL (ON-CAMERA)
$500 shoot day
$2,000 usage
limited to 1–2 people per story selected
LOCATION (YOUR HOME / WORKSPACE) $1,000 one-time payment (per location not per person)
BACKGROUND (NON-FEATURED)
$300 per person
No usage fee
IMPORTANT
Not everyone in a household will be principal
Multiple submissions ≠ multiple principal bookings
Payment is based on role (Principal or Background)
Friends/family may be included as background if selected
